Support for Students

Our teams understand that life can sometimes bring up deep issues and difficulties, and strongly encourage any struggling students to find the support they need.

Although we are compassionate and thoughtful people, we are not trained in counselling or mental health professions. We discuss real issues, and therefore require a school counsellor to be onsite at all performances to assist any students who need support following the sensitive topics discussed.

We strongly recommend our young people to find the help they need. For those struggling with life difficulties, the following are some helpful contacts which offer free or subsidised services with fully trained and qualified professionals.

youthline

For someone to talk to, information for coping with issues, or access to trained counsellors/therapists, Youthline is available 24/7.

crisis_team

If you or someone you know is in immediate crisis, or are danger of harming themselves or others, contact the Crisis Team to help, or Call 111.

depression_help

Depression is an illness that effects many of us. Helpful and encouraging resources are available below. There is also information on anxiety, self harm, and how to get through it all.
